Once it starts it is fine and runs like normal.įrom the reading I have done the options I'm thinking are either the battery is bad or it's an issue with the starter system either the starter itself, the solenoid, or relay. But, I cannot get the bike to start when it's acting up without a jump or a bump start. The next day the bike will start up no problem and run like normal. I even put a trickle charger on it and it's also acting like the battery is full. I just replaced the battery in May and when I check the voltage it's at 12.5 volts. The dash lights flicker, starter motor clicks and headlights go dim, the usual signs. The motorcycle acts like the battery is low when I turn the key on and hit the start button. I've had a strange problem twice (once in June and once a couple days ago) with my bike not wanting to start. Let me know if this is the wrong place to post and I will take it down.
